The Finance Project is a specialized non-profit research, consulting, technical assistance, and training firm for public and private sector leaders nationwide.
We help leaders make smart investment decisions, develop sound financing strategies, and build solid partnerships that benefit children, families, and communities.
Welcome to our new website! We are delighted to introduce our firm to new visitors and reintroduce our work to old friends, colleagues, and returning visitors. This website has been designed to provide you easy access to information about The Finance Project’s expertise, activities, and resources. It is also intended to offer more direct access to our valuable clearinghouses and publications.
This is just one of many exciting new initiatives that we have launched over the past year to better serve our clients and inform a broad public and private-sector audience nationwide. Established in 1994, The Finance Project has become a valuable intellectual and technical resource to policy makers, program developers, and community leaders, including state and local officials, foundation executives, academic researchers, service providers, and advocates who:
- Seek creative ideas for policies, program and system reforms, and effective tools to implement them;
- Need information about what is occurring elsewhere, how it is working, and why; and
- Want practical, hands-on assistance to advance their reform agendas.
As The Finance Project embarks on its second decade, we remain firmly dedicated to our core mission: Helping leaders finance and sustain initiatives to build better futures for children, families, and communities. The board and staff are committed to maintaining and expanding our unparalleled knowledge and expertise related to financing for education, family and children’s services, and community development. We are also committed to expanding our reach and capacity to provide high-quality support and services to improve policies, programs, and practice and to help leaders make informed decisions and solve problems in a rapidly changing world.
We invite your feedback and we look forward to serving you.
