The Youth Programs Resource Center provides information and resources related to supporting and sustaining youth programs, initiatives and policies.  In this section, you will find data, tools, policies, practices, financing strategies, coordination efforts and technical assistance resources developed by The Finance Project and partners.

Youth Programs Newsletter

The Finance Project welcomes new subscribers and encourages subscribers to submit resources on financing and sustaining youth programs to the Youth Programs Newsletter!  You may subscribe to the newsletter by sending an e-mail to ypl@financeproject.org. Please indicate “subscribe” in the subject heading. Also, feel free to e-mail us if your organization has put out a new resource on youth financing or is aware of opportunities in the youth financing field – whether they be grant opportunities, conferences, or written resources. We are always on the lookout for new updates to add to upcoming issues.

The Youth Programs Resource Center hosts a series of audio conferences for program leaders, intermediaries, policymakers and funders to share their valuable ideas and experiences on financing and sustaining youth initiatives.  Please see below for information on an upcoming event for leaders of rural youth and afterschool programs.

Leaders of rural youth and afterschool programs need to act strategically to ensure the long-term success of their initiatives.  This audio conference  highlighted potential financing strategies, upcoming federal legislation to support rural afterschool programs, and lessons learned from leaders of local programs successfully financing their rural programs. This event was intended for program developers, intermediaries, and community organizations in rural communities. The event concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session between the panel and audience participants.
