Judy Langford

Ms. Langford is a Senior Fellow at the Center for the Study of Social Policy in Washington, DC. She serves as a key consultant on child and family issues for foundations, state agencies, and private organizations on the development and implementation of family support policy and practice. She is currently a member of the management team for Community Change Initiatives at the Annie E. Casey Foundation in Baltimore and coordinator of technical assistance for school readiness initiatives in the ten Making Connections cities.

She also is currently the lead developer of national child abuse prevention strategies through early care and education programs with funding from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation in New York. Ms. Langford has served as an advisor for the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation, the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, the Pew Trusts, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the Casey Family Programs. She serves on a number of national advisory boards and review panels related to child and family issues. She is the former Executive Director of the Family Resource Coalition, a national organization of community based family resource programs and the practitioners who work with them. She holds a masters degree in early childhood education and has been an early childhood teacher in the public schools of Clarke County GA.
